It is a very impressive building and one that can be seen from many angles driving around Laguardia. We went to some great wineries in the area, and we found this extremely commercial (there were 27 people in our group!) and expensive (they charged us 12€ pp) and too much focus on their ties with fashion houses, star chefs etc.... When you go out from Laguardia by its west door it is hard not to see this masterpiece from Santiago Calatrava. You should have a look inside to see the way the design of the building was done to serve the wine production best. However, the best are the views from its taste room. More

Santiago Calatrava's impressive architecture is must see on your trip. Make sure to book a tour which includes a tour of the cellar (also amazing) and a tasting. Walk out a bit from the entrance and experience the design as it sits against the mountains in the background! More

Call ahead to arrange a tour of this beautiful modern winery designed by the great Spanish architect- Santiago Calatrava. If you love beautiful modern and organic architecture or wine, you'll love the tour. If you love both, even better! Our guide was knowledgable and friendly and we learned a lot about the wine making process. Definitely visit some older bodegas... More

Oh it did make me laugh....a stunning building which as you drive up looks like it is pixillated on your computer or TV screen. One of the best views though is seen if you stay at Marques de Riscal Hotel, as we did, Ysios winery just pokes its head round the corner into your view a bit like Santiago Calatrava,... More
