The guns are still in position and intact which seemed to be very rare while traveling the sites. You can climb in and around the bunkers/guns and get a good view of both the Coastline/Channel and inland. The size of the weapons is impressive! The battery contains four bunkers of which three still retain their guns which is unique among remaining batteries. It also includes the command bunker which was featured in The Longest Day (as the bunker from which the Germans first viewed the invasion fleet). All can be visited without restraint.
