The Loboc River Cruise is a must-do while you're in Bohol. This river is just so serene. I especially liked the presentation made by the locals in the riverbank during the cruise. One thing that disappointed me was the food. It was just OK..it was not great. I'm not sure of the food in the other boats because each boat... more

300 pesos/person for a buffet which was pretty good. After you eat, you float down the river with a guy/guitar singing. The cruise I was on stopped at the Ati tribe's village for about 15 minutes or so, which was unexpected and pretty enjoyable. more

I must say this is a very nice way to fill in a couple of hours on Bohol. Loboc is about 30 minutes by private transport or about 1 hour by public transport from Tagbilaran and transport is plentiful. There are about 6 different companies offering buffet lunch cruises and buffet dinner cruises all from the same area by the... more

the reviews from others below are all exactly what you will be experiencing once you try this. The entrance fee is covered by the amount that you will be paying for your buffet lunch which is P300.00 per head. paying for your driver or tour guide is optional. The cruise is really a great part of this country side tour.... more

This is a lot of fun and very scenic and nice. Good spread of food at the buffet at the center of the boat. Fun musical entertainment on board. If you are in this part of the Philippines, you HAVE to do this cruise! And don't forget to go see the tarsiers. They are soooo cute! more

The Loboc River Cruise is a mandatory stop to the "island tours" available from the airport. Our driver/tour guide drove us to the pier where we boarded one of the bamboo ferries that sail over the Loboc River. I believe we paid around P300 per person, and we also paid for the driver's lunch. I think that's cheap given the... more

For only P300 (A$7.50 or US$8) we took a lunchtime cruise along the reasonably wide river. Trip duration was 45 minutes. There are a selection of boats to choose from which at least on the day we travelled (in the last week of Filipino school holidays) carried continually good numbers of tourists. The boats have bamboo floors which seem sturdy... more
