This is a lovely spot, especially in the sun. However, it is still warm in the winter, thanks to the wood burning stove. We keep coming back, as they stick to a limited but tasty menu, the homemade soup is delicious and often original, the Ploughmans are great, with choices of cheese and homemade chutneys. As are the sandwiches. The... More

Definitely, a nice tea room by a lovely charming garden. I would recommend to go there on a sunny day and not too late (they close quite early at 5pm).

Used to visit the gardens a few years ago but it seems to have lost its old world charm with the modern gardens and tea room extension. Coffee and cake price OK but plants were rather expensive

This garden Centre is a hidden gem. The food in the cafe was delicious, hand made, and the service was excellent. Friendly staff and nothing was too much trouble. They deal with dietary issues with amazing ease. Better than some major places I have eaten. You can take your dog too. Being a cold February day, it was too cold... More

Stumbled across this place on the way to Lymington (via the long route!) Had lovely soup & soda bread, sandwiches which were offered with gluten free bread whiich is very unusual, & great scones. Although bitterly cold outside, the conservatory was warm even though the woodburner had burnt low. The gardens were a delight & must be a treat to... More

Thank you for your review. Whilst we maintain every effort to be brilliant in everything we do, sometimes things go wrong. We have rectified the situation that was not up to standard this winter. More

Recently held a club gathering here and Sarah & Simon were very welcoming, despite the cold and rain outside. Nothing was too much trouble. We will be back.

A wonderful little eatery with stunning gardens close to the sea. A super selection of homemade cakes & muffins and excellent coffee, in a cosy tea room with excellent view of the gardens, or in the gardens when the weather is nice!. Great stop off after a bracing walk along the sea front.

My wife and I visited the tea rooms and garden recently and left feeling relaxed and a couple of pounds heavier. Try the cheese scone - full of cheese, covered in a crispy topping - to die for! Not just a cup of tea but a full pot - 3 cups for me and 2 for the wife and still... More
