After frequent handling at the carew boot sale we had to take the kids. They loved it. I even sat and held a remarkable cameleon for about half an hour. My 6, 7 and 8 year old got very in to the whole thing. It was very up close and personal, like being a keeper for a day in other... More

I had taken my children to slade cross quite a few times before, and each time they have always begged me to take them back again the next day. Last week we booked a table in the St Govans centre and it was as fantastic as ever. It is a fun, hands on experience and the children are allowed and... More

We had a brilliant day at Reptile Experience! The children were allowed to touch and hold lizards and turtles, feed the fish and one of my children's friends was even brave enough to hold a tarantula! The staff was very helpful, encouraging, friendly and informative and really got children interested in reptile world! We all had a lot of fun!... More

As it seems with others, we visited on a wet October day. The children (2 and 7) were fascinated by the reptiles immediately, and felt we received a warm welcome from all of the staff. Having looked around, and been scared by the halloween exhibit, we were all able to sit down and meet the animals. We all thoroughly enjoyed... More

I totally agree with all the comments that say that the place didn't look much when we drove into the car park. However looks can be deceiving. We had a fabulous 2 hour stay at the centre and ALL the staff could not have done any more to answer our questions and involve us in the hands on experience that... More

'I agree with other reviews that it doesn't look like much of an experience from the outside. We paid £16 for two adults and two children aged 11 and 7. The experience has four "zones" and at first I wondered how we were going to make the visit last more than 15 minutes. The children fed the fish worms and... More

Visited 24th october,a very rainy day,so thought this would be a good choice. Its not very well sign posted,so i would ask the owners to rectify this if they want to be noticed! Its 5 pounds for an adult and 3 for a child. It is very small,no bigger than your average pet shop, but, the experience is completly different, you are given mealworms to... More

We went there on a very rainy day. It's next to a garden centre and doesn't look that impressive from the outside but don't be put off. Welcoming and helpful staff point you in the right direction to look at loads of lizards, snakes, turtles and fish and you get to feed the fish with meal worm! Good for all... More

Our family of six (children aged 7, 12, 13, 16) visited Dragon Reptiles and what a brilliant experience for all of us. We paid the fee (£22.00 for all; bargain!) and were given food to feed the fish. There were all sorts of reptiles to look at and a creepy dark room which housed the spiders and a few surprises... More

Our family has visited the dragon reptile shop in Pugh's garden centre a lot, and having seen our children's enthusiasm for the inhabitants, the chap running it suggested their sister attraction in Pembroke. We don't drive so it took a while to get round to planning an overnight stay in Pembroke to visit, but it was absolutely worth it. Our... More
