Lake District is a wonderful place if you decide to walk, hike, climb etc. Obviously this requires time. We had only a couple of days, so we booked a guided Tour with Millenium Travel. They picked us up at our B&B. On Time. Visited several Lakes (sorry Meres!) from their most scenic view. Taken directly and confortably to Wordworth's Dove...
