Long bus ride but views were worth it ... Kurobe Dam was very interesting and fun to see it frozen. The views of Mt. Tateyama from the ropeway and hotel are exquisite. We walked through snow canyon which was very fun for someone from Chicago to see everyone so excited about snow:) Might be worth it to stay at hotel....
