I travelled to East Africa before my gorilla safari in April and I would recommend any one to visit the park while in East Africa. It is a Savannah national park with lots of wild but the most interesting were the climbing lions in Ishaha sector of this park. I was handled by Abba international tours and travel a local... More

We arrived in Queen Elizabeth late in the morning on our 4th day in Uganda after having spent the previous 1.5 days in Kibale. We entered the park from the north, after passing through Kasese on the border of the park. The first order of business was to take pictures with in infamous Equator signs. Upon finishing, we drove leisurely... More

Although tree climbing lions in Ishasha southern part of this park were not seen, our clients were rewarded by clear viewing of 3 lions in Kasenyi area a.k.a mating place for Uganda Kobs. Imagin clients also saw a lion crossing a road that heads to Mweya penisula while having their dinner in a long distance by the assistance of head... More

It depends on your luck maybe, but while I only saw 2 lions in MFNP at a very long distance, I saw 11 in this park and to top it off, we saw a lion-kill. Also two Kob's fighting with their antlers. There is more to see here then in MFNP, but it is much more touristy. Also, there are... More

Queen Elizabeth National Park was an amazing place to be. We stayed at the lodge within the park, and it was basic but nice. The people were friendly, the food was good, and the wildlife was amazing. We saw 6 lions, 2 leopards, and many giraffes, hippos, crocs, elephants, warthogs, kobs, baboons, mongoose, and we just happened to bump into... More

I had heard of lions that climbed and slept in trees but was not sure I would see them .. Well an hour into my drive through the park I came upon a huge tree and there they were, 2 female lions waiting out the heat of the day . Amazing!! And we stopped at the camp ground to eat... More

Visited for a day and a half with a driver/guide and it was an amazing experience. Daytime for stunning views of lakes and a boat trip to see the hippos, crocs and birds - and evening and early morning for incredible close encounters with elephants and lions. Watching the sun coming up in the company of lions and elephants was an... More

Almost 100 mammal species and a remarkable 606 bird species makes this superb safari territory, with elephant, a profusion of hippos, the elusive giant forest hog and handsome Uganda Kobs all regularly sighted around the tourist village on the Mweya Peninsula - which also boasts a marvelous waterfront setting in the shadow of the Rwenzori Mountains. Elsewhere, the remote Ishasha... More
