A lovely place with gorgeous gardens. We were there in early May so some flowers out and we chose a lovely sunny day. Quite a lot of walking on uneven ground so be prepared but really worth exploring the different smaller gardens. Delightful tea room but don't expect lunch, cream teas looked good though! The restaurant at the beginning was... More

Definitely worth a visit - the hot garden is to die for. Best time to go would be June/July though as not much out in April More

Being an RHS garden makes this one of the best in the country. Our visit was marred by the very poor, wet weather on the day we were there. Also April is maybe a little early in the year as many plants have not reached their full potential. Will go again later in the year and on a sunny day. More

What beautiful gardens. Decided to bring my parents to visit on our first shared break in 24 years! We all had a wonderful day in the spring sunshine amongst well tended borders. I particularly enjoyed the potager area - especially the pots of daffodils, glorious. Didn't like the attempts to sell RHS membership - a bit too pressured. More

These gardens are perhaps a little on the expensive side if you are not a RHS member, but they are very pretty with excellent vegetable gardens as well as formal flower ones. There is a nice cafe and good walks to take. On occasion they also have special weekends with talks as well. More

We are RHS members and regularly visit these gardens to enjoy the changing seasons. Spectactular planting and landscaping coupled with lovely woodland walks. They have a new education centre with exhibitions, there are also regular art and craft exhibitions. The food is always good, whether you just want a snack or cooked meal and an attractive location to meet friends.... More

I'm probably biased because I come from the West Country however I don't do gardening but I live with somebody who does! Rosemoor is friendly, the food is good, there are plenty of seats for people like me and there doesn't seem to be a cockney twang in the air, it's probably warmer and I get Brownie points for taking her... We visited Rosemoor last on Bank Holiday Monday. The weather was fine and, as always, with an outdoor attraction, it helped to make our day. The gardens were in excellent condition, as usual. The array of plants and the manner in which they are displayed have to be seen to be believed. Apart from the visual attraction there is an... More

Worth a visit to see the hot gardens. Otherwise a bit disjointed but still interesting to visit. More
