We visited in very late autumn so the only oppofrtunities were to sit and watch the waves on the water. Little guidance for disabled visitors as far as we could see so little enthusiasm to explore further More

One of the world's leading contemporary artists, James Turrell, has designed one of his amazing "light and space" installations in Kielder forest, on the way up to observatory. We all (10) stayed at Kielder Youth Hostel in comfortable family rooms. Very good value with a friendly welcome - even if it was a bit... More

A beautiful location. We had a great time cycling, walking, going on boat trips and visiting the 'Hogwarts castle' at Alnwick. The kids and us loved it. Would definitely recommend it. More

Upon entry to Leaplish the skies cleared and allowed us to have a lovely trip around the water. There is a bar and restaurant on site plus a super childs... More
