and quite unexpected, I was holding my breath in anticipation at caged animals pacing and generally looking unhappy. What we found was, all free to roam in glorious surroundings, the chance to hand feed them popcorn and see how well they are doing as there were lots of newborns scampering around. Great playground, snack area and picnic place.. Clean toilets......

Fun day out for all the family.
Not for peolple in wheelchairs or who have walking difficulties - it's mostly uphill, the groud is not flat and there are lots of tree roots visible, so watch out when you're walking aroud.
At the entrance you receive some popcorn to feed the monkeys, it's fun but baware if you wear glassers...

We had a wonderful time feeding the monkeys at Monkey Mountain. It was a nice break from cultural stuff. We certainly never thought we'd be feeding monkeys when we planned our trip to Alsace, but we saw the flyer in our hotel and since it was on our way, decided to stop.
