We enjoyed the Skellig Ring tour so much it inspired us to book a second tour which incorporated the valleys and lakes of this wonderful peninsula. The Skellig Ring is a superb tour; the combination of history with the beauty of the coast is a great introduction to the area. The Hidden Kerry tour was fantastic and having Dan as... More

My husband and I did the Skellig Ring tour which was a incredible experience. The view from Bolus Head was exquisite. There was so much to see and an abundance of picture opportunities, our favourite been at Puffin Sound. We took up on the optional extras including an excursion to the monastic settlement of Illaunloughan and to Geokaun viewing point.... More

I did the Ballinskelligs to Bolus archaeological walk with some friends. The tour guide Dan O’ Meara was a very friendly guy with great knowledge of the area, answering all the questions we had along the tour. He showed us all the archaeological monuments in the area and the scenery/landscape was absolutely breathtaking. Dan’s enthusiasm held our interest throughout. The... More

We took the Skellig Ring tour with Dan O-Meara, and had a fantastic time. Even with the adverse weather conditions in the AM (windy and raining), all of our family (which included a 15 and 17 year old) thought that this trip was great. Dan's enthusiasm about the area helped to ignite our excitement about the sights on this tour... More

Before writing this review I admit that I knew Dan O'Meara. We both studied archaeology at University in Cork during the 90s and worked together as field archaeologists for several years following graduation before loosing touch. When I saw his 'Hidden Kerry' site my wife and I just had to book and see what he was at. We took a... More

Hidden Kerry is simply the best way to discover the wonders thaht the region of Kerry has to offer. Your tour will be guided by Dan O'Meara, an archeologist specialised in early medieval culture : an excellent advantage in this place full of relics of the past. Besides you couldn't find a friendlier man for the job that will adapt... More

We did the Skellig Ring tour on a whim and had such a great time. We were blessed with a sunny, bright day and a guide who knew the area intimately and was a wealth of knowledge. It was a terrific day (and night!) and we look forward to doing some tours when we next visit. Kari and Emmett Los... More

We did both the Skellig Ring and Hidden Kerry tours and would highly recommend these to anyone. Scenery was breath-taking with photo opportunities around every corner. Mountains, lakes, clifftop walks, beautiful little beaches, ancient monuments, need i go on, were some of the high points of the both days. Our guide Dan, an archaeologist, kept us informed and entertained throughout.... More
