Beautiful views but not great to sunbathe - apparently busy in the summer time.

Our experience was a bit different, instead of trekking to the beach we used a boat to anchor just near it and swam across to the beach. Only drawback was that we couldn’t carry any camera equipment to take pictures from the beach. The beach is truly unique with its red sand texture and sheltered from both sides with cliffs.... More

lovely beach- very hot sand but crystal clear water- just be ready to climb to it

Having seen only sandy beaches, this was unique for us. The location offers some good photo opportunities. The warm pebbles against the cold water was a good experience. Not too vast, and thankfully not very crowded when we went.

It was a novelty to see red(ish) cliffs, but don't expect scarlet sand or rose-tinted cliffs. The beach was strewn with seaweed and there was quite a lot of litter.
