When we decided to visit cave Modric we had no idea what to expect. It was our first time to visit a non commercial cave with a guide, with helmets and possibility to have claustrophobic attacks. Than we met Marijan from Zara Adventure agency - not quite classic tourist guide - he is speleologist and above all nature lover. We... More

This was a highlight of our trip. Really! The whole experience from the very start of meeting Marijan(the guide), getting all the gear (overall and the helmet with the light) throughout the adventurous exploration of the cave till the very end, when we were full of emotions and peacefully enjoyed the beautiful view of the sea from the entrance of... Wow, this is awesome!!! We went into this natural cave dressed in overalls and wearing helmets with lamps, led by a real speleologist. Marijan from the agency Zara-adventure speaks fluent English and German and shared his knowledge about the cave in a very interesting and fun way. The cave is just beautiful with big halls full of stalagmites and stalactites.... More

The cave itself is a beautiful piece of nature, but our inspiring guide Marijan made it a true caving experience. Squeezing through tight passages felt safe and fun, and the tour was tailored to our spesific background and interests. Our litte group of three had the cave and our guide all to ourselves, quite different from all the other touristic... More

Besides the title of this review, I'm not going to tell you how great experience that was...not just because I never had an opportunity to visit a cave, but I never knew how delicate nature around us is and how even only one water drop can make a difference. So when somebody tells you a story how those beautiful shapes... More

We visited this cave during our holiday in Croatia mid September. At first we didn’t know what to expect but it turned out to be a highlight of our holiday, thank you Marijan! At the arrival, when we were given overalls, helmets with carbide lamps and a safety briefing, we realized it was going to be different to anything we’ve... More

Visit to Modric Cave simply made our stay in Zadar. It was an amazing experience, the cave is spectacular and wearing special suits, containers with gas to supply light and helmets made it even more fun! It was a great adventure and it’s not physically challenging so anyone can do it including older children (kids between 7-10 must be accompanied... More
