we went for island hopping trip with PNT (Maya beach, phi phi, monkey beach) and did not enjoy the day as much we expected.
the boat was over crowded, though it had space for everyone to sit, yet it was cramped and becomes uncomfortable once you get wet due to snorkelling and other water activitieds.
They claim about free snorkelling...

I was apprehensive about a boat trip with my little kids (aged 1 and 3), but this trip was perfect. Not too long on the boat, great beaches, snacks and drinks. It was a lovely afternoon.
