unbelievably bad. don't believe the other good reviews don't waste your time. hard to imagine how they could have made it worse. kids might enjoy it , it reminded me of disneys its a small world done with cut out cardboard figures. sad use of what was once i am sure a fabulous building. More

It was fun to see the castle but many of the exhibits were weird and did not really teach you anything about wine. I would have liked to have seen the castle without the museum. More

Designed by the same man behind the excellent Cinema Museum in Torino (and the slightly dissapointing car museum in the same city) this museum is whimsical, highly ambitious, eccentric and fun. It also is strong on history and information for all but the most demanding of wine buffs. A gem. More

We visited this weekend and it is truely magnificent, shows wine in art, cuisine, music, lots of interesting interactive displays and a good history of wine, very innovative - I really cannot understand the negative comments, we loved it - much more interesting than visiting a wine estate and looking at endless casks and vinification equipment - I have been... The castle is quite beautiful, particularly the views from the outside balcony, and the exhibits are well laid out along the recommended route to be followed over the various floors. The museum appears to focus on the history of wine, its commercialisation and development over thousands of years and its many influences on modern day life. Exhibits ranged from the... More

Because there are a number of negative reviews of this museum, I have to put in my 2 euros worth. My husband and I found it creative and different and learned a lot. Granted, some parts are just plain weird (such as the room with big red lips). But the trip through the history of wine, starting 6000 years ago,... More

As with any attraction, it depends who is visiting it. We spent a short week in the Piemonte region with our children, ages 10 & 13, visiting villages, restaurants, food artisans and the local truffle festival. We stayed in an Agriturismo, where they made goats cheese. All this was very authentic, but quite "grown up" in terms of family holidays.... More
