The Wirral Park is excellent. Ideally suited for families, beach and coastline explorers, or walkers and cyclists, even paragliders! Something for everyone. A credit to Wirral Council for this free amenity, that can be enjoyed by all. The Visitors Centre at Thurstaston is well equipped, full of information of where to visit, and also details the history of the area.... More

Wirral Country Park is situated in the Wirral peninsula, North West UK, and is also home to Thurstaston Visitors Centre. It is a beautiful stretch of coastline and cliffs overlooking the River Dee Estuary.
