This is one of my favorite things to do in the whole world. These carriage roads are such a gift. Thank you Mr. Rockefeller! We tried the carriage roads with the bike rentals, but this method is not for everyone. It can be strenuous for some in certain locations & I remember one section where I worked at getting up a hilly spot on the gravel road & it was hot out that day. By the time I made it to the top &... more

We biked the carriage roads in August. The weather forecast predicted rain and clouds the day we rented bikes, but we decided to bring our rain jackets and try it anyway!
