This hike can be as short or long as you want. First mile is easy, then it becomes Moderate with some rock scrambling. After the second mile out it becomes Difficult and best only by experienced hikers in good shape. Full loop is 7.4 miles. Spectacular views!! More

Devil's Garden is located at the very end of Arches National Park. We headed here first. We did a short hike and saw 5 arches: Pine Tree, Tunnel, Landscape, Navajo and Partition. You can hike even deeper at Devil's Garden and see more arches, but we did the 1.6 mile roundtrip. There is very little elevation gain so this is... More

The campground at Devil's Garden was outstanding. We took the large group site and around 10 private sites for our large group of around 80 people. The bathrooms were well cared for and all the sites were very clean. There are two short hikes right in the campground. One to Broken Arch and the other to Tapestry. Beautiful area. Can't... More

The Devils Garden area is an excellent first stop in Arches NP. Depending on your time and energy level, you can see a large number and variety of arches. Landscape is the most famous in this area, but it's worth doing the loop to see them all. I don't know why the description hear says 2.2 miles, as the whole... More

Even if you don't want to tackle the entire Devils Garden Trail, you can see 3 arches with a moderate hike. It's especially worth it to see Landscape Arch, which is among the longest natural rock spans in the world. It is hot during August, so this trail is strenuous in hot weather. Arches National Park has fantastic rock formations... More

From Devil's Garden Trailhead at the far end of the pavec road through Arches Nat'l Park, you can head out on a walking trail past several scenic arches to impressive Double O arch, which you can get to right up close. IMO, going up the dead-end trail to Dark Angel is not really worth it, but what definitely is a... More

We were in Arches NP for three full days and did some hiking within the park. After Delicate Arch, I would say that this is the second best hike to do. You can make it about as long as you want to - as little as just two miles round trip (an hour or so) to get only to Landscape... More

I'm sure everyone has said it all already, so I'll just add a few tidbits. We loved Tunnel Arch and Pine Tree Arch as much as the others, so if you can't do most of the hike, at least hike to those (much shorter). Navaho Arch was my personal favorite. Very spiritual, the way the light comes through. We did... More

Devils Garden in my opinion is one of the best hikes at Arches. It can also be the longest hike in the park if you take in all the arches along the main trail and also do the return trip via the primitive loop (not recommended for small children or for those not in good physical shape). Make sure you... More

This was my first primative trail hike ever - and now I am hooked! We left on the trail at first light to make it back before the heat of mid-day hit. I believe it took us about 3 hours to hike the whole trail. There had been rain the days before our hike some many of the trail markers... More
