The cowboys are knowledgeable and work hard to make sure riders of all levels are having a great time. The horses are even tempered and sure-footed which is great to know as we rode up and down steep narrow trails. The vistas from the PeekaBoo trail are spectacular. After having hiked each of the previous several days this was a... More

We took the morning half day ride into the Canyon. Our guide was Dave, he was very entertaining. The beauty of Bryce is amazing. We covered 8 miles on this ride. There is no way my kids could have hiked this far in one day. We went down to the Canyon floor where the horses have a drink and the... More

since my husband could not hike down to the canyon , we took the mule ride and we had an excellent guide and I loved my mule. It was worth it and we just love it...of course I could not walk for a day or so, but what ta heck....you only live once....greatly recommended.... More

Neither my wife nor I had been on a horse in over 40 years, but we heard this was good and decided to give their 2-hr ride a go. It was a blast! The wranglers (they prefer that term to cowboys) are very attentive and helpful, and ours (Dave) was a real colorful guy. The horses (and some mules, it... More

If you have not been on a horse before, then the 2 hour ride would be adequate, if you want to be able to walk next day. Certainly worth doing but you should note that tips are "obligatory". Also there is no water available, a problem if it is a hot day. More

We had a great time in Bryce. If I were to do it again, I suggest the Zion first then Bryce. Bryce was exceptional ride, recommend to everyone. A must do for the half day trip, don't cut yourself short by doing any shorter ride. Zion was a dusty ride. So if it hasn't rain the day before, bring a... More

This was definitely the highlight of our trip. We took the 2-hour ride and our wrangler, Hank (who is a double for Kevin Costner and even talks like him!) was so professional and even had to lead a lady the entire trip because she was scared. He did so without hesitation after offering her the chance to turn back. He... More

There are many companies that offer horseback rides - this one is by far the best. They are located inside Bryce Cyn National park and take you to the bottom of the canyon. Much better and walking it!! Guides are nice and well informed. This was one of the highlights of our trip. More

No doubt horse rides aren't for everyone--I'm not particularly a fan--but even the length of a half-day ride couldn't diminish the experience of a unique trek with an entertaining wrangler guide right among the Bryce formations. Choice of durations. Worth it. More
