The Burr Trail is paved from Boulder to Capitol Reef National Park. We explored Deer Creek north (small campground) and south. We hiked the Gulch to the south on the west side of the stream. After reading a great review of the Burr Trail in Trip Advisor, we decided to give it a try. The scenery was absolutely fabulous. The Burr Trail is a scenic drive from Boulder, Utah, eastward to the Notom-Bullfrog road. It is paved to the National Park boundry and gravel from there on to Notom-Bullfrog.
