we knew this would be corny, but it was pretty bad. we were rushed through our meal, presumably because they do a second show later- i barely had time to start on a beer, when the last call was announced just prior to the start of the show, so you could not order any drinks during the show, which definitely... more

We brought our kids and my husband's 80 year old godmother to Cabin Nite, expecting mediocre food and a cheesy show with an Alaskan flavor. The food was better than I expected, all-you-can eat, served family style-moist salmon, BBQ pork ribs (OK, but too much sauce), corn, beans, tasty biscuits, salad, and delicious blackberry cobbler (served with whipped cream--ice cream... more

First of all the meal was very good, with wonderful salmon. The show and the forced interactions with the audience were mediocre. The musical had no story plot, but was just meandering incidents from Alaskan history, sung by average vocalist. Our teenagers were thoroughly bored with the show. Definitely for the older crowd. Not a good value for your money. more

If you're young and energetic and can think of 900 better things to do with yourself than sit around a table with strangers and sing silly songs, then steer clear. The food was actually very good but the entertainment was obviously designed to occupy older cruise-line travelers who wanted another option besides sitting in their room watching TV. If you're... more

The entire thing was so stupid and silly I had to force myself to stay. The meal was ok for cafeteria food. It consisted of salmon (ok but obviously not best quality), ribs, corn on the cob, baked beans, salad, biscuits, and berry cobbler. They advertise as all you can eat, but pretty much its one and done as they... more

My husband and I had a great time here. The food was pretty good, and everyone at our table was great! You get to sit with about 10 people at a table, and it is a community type meal. The meal consisted of salad, bread, corn, ribs, salmon and berry cobbler. The salmon was a bit dry, but was still... more

I'm a low key, not much for chaos type of person. But the Alaska Cabin Nite is a chaos I would repeat anytime. The food was great, service (and you are part of it) was wonderful and the entertainment a blast. Beautiful songs laced with laughingly bad jokes. There were four in my party and all agreed it was well... more

Unsuspecting tourists would enjoy the show and be very satified with dinner. For folks living in Alaska, there aren't any corn fritters with honey butter and the salmon is pretty plain. On a positive note, the salmon was moist and the ribs had a good sauce on them. If you are staying in Denali and want to get your fill... more
