True to its name, from this overlook you can see just about all of the Bright Angel Trail from Indian Gardens upward. Since I'd previously hiked up this trail, I really enjoyed getting an overview of the trail and seeing all the switchbacks from above.

This Grand Canyon overlook is only accessible by shuttle. From the west end of South Rim Village, take the Red Hermits Rest shuttle. Trailview Overlook is the first stop as the shuttle is going west (the shuttle doesn't stop at Trailview going east). You can also walk here; it's 0.7 miles from the shuttle transfer point.
