We are big fans of the Junior Ranger Program as it is a fun way for kids to become more engaged and to learn more about the site being visited. My kids have earned about 50 so far and they rated the Grand Canyon program a "4" as it seemed a little too simplistic for such an important park, probably...

As with most National Park sites, kids of all ages can participate in this program. Start by picking up a Junior Ranger booklet at any of the Visitor Center locations.
