Vacationed in early June '08. Be warned - unfortunately it was unseasonable cold in WY - highs in the 40's a couple days (not high of 69 degrees as stated on weather.com as average). There are some nice scenic hikes, a few lakes and some limited wildlife viewing. We stayed in park for 4 days, after 4 days in Yellowstone. We spent four days at Grand Teton (Jackson Lake Lodge, review posted) and absolutely fell in love with it. Going to Yellowstone afterwards was more "interesting" but less satisfying in many ways.
