We visited Cades Cove on Aug 24, 2007. It took a 35-50 minutes to get there from Sieversville and the drive is very picturesque this time of year. Greenery is EVERYWHERE. Cades Cove is not to be missed. I have been there during summer, spring and fall and it never ceases to amaze me how beautiful the scenery is in all seasons. Lots of places to stop and get out of the car to observe. more

We recently spent the weekend in the Smoky Mountains and decided to go to Cades Cove the first day. It was really neat. To see how settlers lived during the early 1800s was cool. Such small cabins!!
