Horseshoe Park had a good viewing this time of year for the rut warm-up. We saw older bulls with their harems and the young bulls trying to come in. It wasn't hard core old bull-to-old bull competition yet, but it was fun to see the start of this season. More

We travelled around an hour from Denver to Rocky Mountain National park. We were not disappointed by the trip. In just around 4 hours we saw a large part of the park and did some hiking too.
