Our favorite hike was up to Bridal Veil Falls which was barely a trickle ... but still fun to see. More

If you are in Tucson, your trip will not be complete without a visit to the Saguaro National Park. There is a super nice 8 mile long loop in Saguaro East with plenty of opportunities to stop and take pictures. At the furthest end of the loop there is a walking trail and the entire loop is perfect for hiking,... More

There are some great hiking trails. I recommend going to the north side at the East end of Speedway. I think the trail head is called Douglas Springs (free). There are several interconnecting trails that take you past things like Wild Horse Tanks where you can look down on these stone pools of water, but take your own water. It... More

This National Park offers a great study of the saguaro cactus and desert surroundings. It also offers great hiking from easy to more challenging. It also has some old historic sites which can be easily visited on easy hikes. There is a picnic ground on site. A great place for a 1/2 trip either to drive around the 9 mile... More

We stopped here on our way to Flagstaff for lunch. We have to all parks pass or whatever it's called, basicly a yearly pass that gives access to all the naitonal parks and most other monuments during a year. This park is really cool though. It has a 6 or 9 mile paved road loop around the visitor center that... More

The history of the Saguaro Cactus is amazing. They take so long to grow and there were so many of them at Saguaro National Park. Kids had lots of fun with this Junior Ranger Program and did most of it on the Nature Trail about half way round the loop. The drive was nice and the road was in good... More
