We visited both the East and West Parks on a recent visit to Tucson. I actually drove through here on my way to the Desert Museum, on winding roads that reminded me a bit of driving through Yosemite or Big Sur. It was a really nice drive, and I took advantage of the pull-offs to take lots of beautiful pictures of the cacti and the rocky hills beyond. It's definitely worth the drive out... more

Worth a visit if you're in the Tucson area. The park stands west of the Old Tucson Studios and the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum. It's an short and easy drive with a few opportunities for walks/hikes amongst the saguaro cactuses. more
