We decided to tour the wind cave. Only one tour was being offered- the 1 and 1/4 hour tour. Very interesting. We also hiked some in the park. Lots of fun. Do the nature trail at the RV park at Wind Cave National Park.

This was not at the top of my must see, but after seeing it I would have placed it in the top five for my trip. Rangers and staff were great and helpful, The kids liked it. We were traveling with friends and had four teenagers along, they enjoyed it. This is a must see and I would come back...

Another 30 minute drive from the southern boundaries of Custer State Park will take you to this historic subterranean attraction known for its boxwork formations in an otherwise stalagmite-less and stalactite-less passageways. The next morning we returned and took a tour of the cave. This was lead by a...

Wind Cave was awesome. We chose the candlelight tour, which was about two hours. We were SO sore when we finished! You don't realize how strenuous it is until you have a chance to rest! Would definitely recommend! We loved seeng all the prairie dogs on the side of the road too! So cute!
