The shuttles are great for hopping off and on at the various sites. Great way to view a national park and avoid the congestion. more

I drove to Zion on a whim from Vegas to check it out. Not really understanding the system, I proceeded to drive into the park and was hit with the large $25 fee. A lot of trails are dangerous because you can either drown due to flashfloods or slip over the trail edge. On the safer trails you meet a zillion other people (the same kids that were yelling on the compulsory shuttle bus, for instance). Is this what I paid 25 bucks for? you wander. We got into the park early and were able to park at the visitor's center. You have to ride a free shuttle up the canyon that is free and stops at all the scenic points. Buses run very frequently and it was not crowded this early in the season and morning. A must see national park along with Bryce Canyon. more

Every corner gives views that top the last ones you just saw. You will love this drive and take tons of pictures. The colored rock is not like anywhere else in the country and the different colors are not to be missed. more

I recently drove up to Zion from Vegas and spent the afternoon in this incredible park. This is easily the nicest national park I have ever been in. You can drive through on the Mt. Oct. 8, 2006 E.G.M. from Massachusette My sister neice and I were on a 2 week trip to Utah and Arizona to visit 6 national parks, monuments and numerous other places. Zion was our first stop. It was amazing. We spent 10 hours here. The shuttle makes it so easy to see to get around. more
