We walked along the Riverside trail after coming down from the Angel's Landing Trail. We hiked the trail in the fall and the trail was refreshingly cool after the baking heat of Angel's Landing. This is a great walk in the park. It is located at the last bus stop along the route. It's flat and paved so anyone can do it. A nice enough trail, but I found it tame and not as interesting as some of the other trails in the park. It's paved and almost completely level. The views are okay but nothing special. I hiked the Riverside Walk not too long ago and it is very scenic. There are also some neat hanging gardens and the towering cliff walls are pretty. This is a great, short easy walk along with Weeping Rock for those who are not physically able to do strenous hikes like Angel's Landing. But, this is a great trail anyways.... more

If you drive into Zion, make sure you try at least one walk. We tried this one to continue up the canyon from the road's end. The canyon gets darker and narrower the further you walk. But the walk is extremely pleasant and reaches a dead end at the water's edge, whilst still offering hikers an opportunity to continue upstream... more
