We had never been to the Caribbean before and were a little worried about what we'd find. We're not "resort" type people and don't think we'd like the "Sandals" experience. Hawksbill was perfect. Relaxed (only 1 TV on the premises so no chance to cheat on relaxing) atmosphere. Read 7 books in the 12 days we were there. Food was... More

My husband and I lived in Antigua for several months and we loved going to Hawksbill. The beaches inside the resort are gorgeous, and you are free to use them even if you aren't staying at the resort. At least when we were on the island, Hawksbill beaches didn't get all the seaweed that mucked up some of the other... More

We came with the cruise ship, took a taxi to Hawksbill Beach about $15.00 from the pier . There are four beaches on this bay; the first one is easily accessible to the public, while you need to go through the resort to reach the other three. The first beach is reached by the main road and is just before... More

Well we took the public bus to the resort. Told the van driver we wanted to go to hawksbill, he dropped us right at the gate for $3pp, it was an experience. The resort was perfect for the day, we went to all three beaches, my favorite was the middle one. To get the bus back we had to walk... More

We visited Antigua beginning of April and stayed at the Hawksbill by Rex resort. We had a good time at the resort. We found that the resort was beautifully landscaped and organized. Accommodation: Our room was in the garden bungalow close to the seagrapes beach. It was big enough and had everything you need to accommodate 2 adults and 2... More

This is a beautifully positioned resort, with fine beaches one of which is “clothing optional”. Even the basic cottages are virtually on the beach. The accommodation was a bit run down, though clean. The central area with the bar and restaurants is a short uphill walk away through well-kept gardens. The swimming pool is quite small, but then the sea... More

I just returned from a week at the Hawksbill by rex resorts in Antigua and for me it was the perfect island escape. The setting was idyllic.....probably the best scenery on an island known for its beautiful scenery. There were four palm lined beaches where you could walk for miles or just leave your balcony and find a convenient lounge... More

We shall return end of this month for the third year running to this special place called Hawkesbill Bay. We have found this resort and have enjoyed the warmth of the staff, the good food and the uniqueness of the place has drawn us back every year. We enjoy swimming in the bay and walking in the gardens, the peace... More
