Booked through cruise ship. Lots of waiting till others arrived then RUSHED through pool orientation. I am novice, my DH experienced. We were taken out in rough seas and dived without adequate weights (my DH) had to hold me down while motorized boats were directly overhead. Visibility very poor and instructor was not watching out for novice divers. Scary experience. more

Overall this provided a nice little excursion. There was a promotion offered at the time for wknd. sunset sails and we could not pass it up. If not for the promo. I would have passed up on it as I prefer the more private sail boat/catamaran owner operated excursions. There were hors d'ouvres and drinks were flowing steady. The bottom... more

Our family boarded a sunset sail (Red Sail Sports) on August 22, 2009. While out at sea four of us were leaning against the rails, enjoying the view, when suddenly a rail broke. Our 74 year-old uncle fell overboard backwards. The boats "crew" did not throw out life preservers-- that's the first thing to do when someone falls overboard. Instead,... more

Shop is in front of Hyatt on Hyatt pier and offer pick up at any hotel. They operate many activites including diving, but we only tried them for diving. We dove the Antilla which was great and a plane wreck (the persippany?) which was weak, but they were simple 1 tank dives each as we weren't diving heavy this trip.... more

We had a great time on a Red Sail Sports private sail & snorkel trip. We had a group of 40 people, and everyone had a blast. The crew was friendly, the lunch was great, and everyone enjoyed the drinks served at the bar (the captain's special was a big hit). more

Spent a week in Aruba and scheduled three dives with this company - Pedernalis, Antilla and Arashi - all were wonderful as were the Dive Master and Captain - organized, timely and professional would 100% book with Red Sail again. I have dived in many other places and with many companies, these guys are great. They are more hands-off if... more

Spectacular personalized service. I am afraid of water. Steve, our dive guide, was exceedingly patient. Our 13 and 15 year sons and 48 year old me successfully completed a 40 minute dive at about 25 feet. Saw a sea turtle in addition to thousands of beautifully colored fish, parts of a ship wreck, and multitudes of coral. Michel, the owner,... more

If you've never snorkelled over a wreck, this isn't too bad. The current is strong, and if you go on a cloudy day, the visibility will be poor. If you have your own snorkel equipment, bring it and save your money. There are many miles of publicly accessable snorkeling waters in Aruba. Arashi and Marikok beaches are at the northern... more

Snorkel equipment is included free of charge in all of our snorkel sail excursions. Aruba's abundant sea life is best seen from aboard the catamarans as the reefs are more accessible from boats.

Took a Red Sail Sports snorkeling excursion while in Aruba. Great staff, good food, drinks were included and the boat was clean. Nothing bad to say at all. The only thing though is that Aruba isn't really very good for snorkeling...saw some fish, but nothing spectacular. Kept comparing the island snorkeling to Belize's snorkeling, which I guess isn't fair. We... more
