Baby Beach is a near ideal setting - a small bay with calm blue waters and natural reefs which make snorkeling above average. However, there's a huge Valero refinery on the hill above the beach. In the middle of this picture perfect scene, you have a big factory. Weird. Other than that, its very nice. We went on a Tuesday... more

Yes very much over priced if you only spring for the hot dog platter, but my husband and I were in he mood for the fish platter which seemed utterly ridiculous at $20 so we split it. Oh my goodness did we underestimat big mama! It was quite possibly the best meal we had all week! It was incredible!!!! If... more

I don't have kids, but there are always many families with small children enjoying the beach in the clean, shallow tranquil waters. Yes, you do drive by the refinery to get there, but it isn't visible from the beach itself, and the prevailing winds carry any odors the other direction. The water is very clear and the sand is very... more

Drove down to baby beach to see the area but mostly to do some snorkeling... the beach itself is small, not crowded - and the water is clear - lots of reef areas to do some snorkeling. We were there for about an hour - snorkeling was about a "C" - you could rent the equipment (snorkel mask and fins)... more

We spent one afternoon at Baby Beach and had an awesome time. If we weren't snorkeling, we were walking the beach and looking for shells. This is one of the best, quietest beaches on the island. The snorkeling was truely amazing. We saw all kinds of fish as well as a school of baby squid. It was neat to see... more

Yes, so Baby Beach is next to the refinery. Yes, if you constantly look to your right, it will spoil your view. However: because of the direction of the constant trade winds, it's impossible to smell the refinery and besides: you're there for the fishes, not for the refinery, right? If you want the beautiful views, don't go the Baby... more

This is a cove-type beach. You won't get typical beach waves here - almost like a very clear swimming pool. We had a wonderful day here. more

The beach is terribly close to the valero oil refinery...ruins everything....also chair/hut rental is rude and total rip-off....locals not friendly there more

Rented a car and drove to Baby Beach Jan. 28th, 2009. We have not been there in at least 10 years and I can honestly say it still is the best beach around. It is a little more built up than when we were there (there was literally nothing there), now there are bathrooms and 2 places to eat. Someone... more

We spent a week in Aruba over Thanksgiving, and Baby Beach was easily the highlight of the stay. We rented a Jeep to drive around the island, but ended up spending most of the day at BB. You do NOT need a jeep to get here, it's a good paved road all the way, and it actually is pretty much... more
