Visited one afternoon with a friend. We actually never made it down to the pond. There's an area of rocky beach that's a great place to watch the waves. Once you get down the main path, it's very rocky and uneven, so good shoes are a plus. It's a nice, peaceful place to appreciate nature at it's best. more
The damage done by the hurricanes in 2003 (and 2006) is healed. The knocked over trees are cleaned up. Now, it's just a pretty walk through the woods that leads to excellent views of the rocky shore. I bring my children to look at the cows and chickens and play with the crabs and sea puddles. more
Visited in July 2005 with my wife. This is not a large park but well worth a walk around if you are sight seeing in the area. Its free. We did it on the bus with out any problem, we had the place to ourselves. The area is still pretty banged up from the huricane in 2003 but is well... more
This is a great reserve, but don't come here if you are looking for big wildlife. There were a few herons, native birds, and turtles I saw here, but nothing exciting.
