The fort is approximately 15 minutes walk from Front Street, Hamilton's main thoroughfare. It does require an uphill climb, which may be challenging if you have mobility issues. Entry is free and is made via a drawbridge over the dry moat. Inside everything is well kept and there are gun placements, cannons and disused shells all around for you to... more

Best fort to visit- entry over drawbridge where you can see how they cut down through solid coral to make the mote- which now contains a pathway through a beautiful garden. Fort has fantastic views of Hamilton and you can even see the ocean to the South of Bermuda. Nice interpretive signs showing the cannons-which swing up to fire, and... more
