Just returned from 4 night stay. We were generally disappointed and should have read the TripAdvisor reviews before we booked! We went with our infant. Prior to booking we had called to confirm that the junior suites had closeable doorway/partition so that our baby could sleep while we were still awake in the neighboring room. (In fact, we had chosen... more

Great hotel. Lovely bungalow on the beach. Long beach without many people. Good food though pricey (like the rest of the island). more

We stayed at Elbow Beach for five nights after spending two nights in the Fairmont Southampton Princess for New Year's Eve. After leaving Fairmont we were pretty pleased with the facilities there and were slightly concerned about moving to a new resort. But there was no need to worry. Elbow Beach exceeded all expectations and the move made this the... more

Just returned from a 3 night stay at Elbow Beach, in a deluxe ocean view room. The views are breathtaking, the main hotels is beautiful. However, there was a very distinct musty odor in our room, the bathrooms are very small. The service at the restaurants was hit or miss...since the tips are automatically added to your bill, the waitors... more

First the Good: Great beach. Seahorse Grill has excellent food, service, wines and ambiance. The room (main bldg) was passable with a small balcony with a great view. Staff was invisible yet everything was kept perfect. Classic old school Brit style building. Spa is solid with looks and services worthy of a MandarinOriental. The Bad: As others have noted, the... more

Just got back from Elbow Beach. First, the hotel was amazing. We got upgraded to one of the cottages - that's the way to go if you can afford it (or get an upgrade) - rooms were spacious, everything was clean and new, bed super comfortable. The staff couldn't have been more accomodating, and happy, which was nice. We ate... more

OK, I'm an educated consumer and so of course, I did not stay in a $500 a night hotel. I found a reasonable place to stay because I refuse to be ripped off. We visited this beach as there is a public side and also we went to eat at Mickey's because of the pleasant view. The food was just... more

We just returned from a fabulous 3 night stay at Elbow Beach. We stayed in a Jr. Suite with nice ocean view in the main hotel (not a private balcony, but off season so not an issue). The room had been refurbished, but not rennovated. It had new paint carpet and there was painting going on on other floors. The... more

Be warned: if you stay in the main hotel, expect your room to be on par with that of an economy scale motel in the states. Our "ocean view" room (with a rate of $500 plus a night ) included a stench of mold and smoke, a leaking ceiling that saturated half of the carpet, filthy, dirty walls, mold stained... more

The Elbow Beach has great amenities-a wide variety of restaurants, a beautiful private beach, a clean pool with a kiddie pool and hot tub- and wonderful service. During our stay, we stayed in a suite and two standard rooms... the suite was absolutely lovely. We had a lot of room and a little yard area. The two standard rooms desperately... more
