Went to this in mid-September, was truly one of the highlights of our trip. The cave system is really beautiful and HUGE. You really have no idea how large it is until about midway through the tour. If you go be prepared that at one point they will stop the tour and turn off all the lights to give a... more

A very good experience! The guide was funny and very informative. the cave its self was spectacular! very good mood lighting and the trams are pretty new and spacious (seats 4 each) It's quite a bit out of the beaten track, so i would recommend booking through your hotel or travel rep as they provide travel to and from. It... more

We first tried to get in on a Thursday afternoon to be told that it was fully booked and also booked out on the Friday. We managed to reserve a slot early on the Saturday morning. A lot of organised tours visit and make block bookings so if you are making your own trip it may be worth a phone... more

Harrison's Cave is a great site (not the largest or most impressive cave I've ever seen) - but in combination with it training locals in learning new skills (leading tours, etc) - I highly recommend this attraction. You ride a tram through the cave and you can get up and walk twice and take close up looks of different parts... more

Harrisons Caves has to be the number 1 tourist attraction in Barbados, a little unkown fact is that Barbados is riddled with caves, and sadly last year a complete house totally dissapeared overnight into a cave below, but have no fear the Harrisson's Caves have undergone numerous structrual surveys overs the years. they have an electial trolley train which takes... more

The cave itself was interesting, but the stalactites and stalagmites totally wigged me out. I definitely recommend this tour. more

Don't miss seeing these caves. They are very unique. The tour guide was not that great, we could not understand almost anything she was saying. Very interesting. more

The caves themselves are absoulutely breathtaking. We got some great pictures of the different formations, the tram will slow down to allow you to take photographs. (There is 2 stops where you can get off the tram and take photos). The guides were informative. Tips: 1) Photos are difficult to get because it is so dark (lighting is too dim... more

The caves themselves were amazing, but the tour in all was lacking. It starts off with a video that is very old in room with beat up chairs that was very damp and musty. The tram car you take through is also very old. It was hard to understand the tour guide and she was not that friendly. Also, the... more

Good cave adventure, (for the tame at heart) Tram takes about 45 min tour. Hard to find the cave, but worth the adventure. Try to drive rather than taxi A nice change from the beach activities more
