We visited here and loved it. The guide, Michael, had only been working there for a few weeks but obviously knew the history inside out. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Loved the black and white cine film - fascinating to watch. This was my favourite place on the island so don't miss it. more

St. Nicholas Abbey is one of the oldest houses in Barbados apparently built only 30 years after they discovered Barbados, this house has been well preserved over the years and still on going as you would expect to keep things in good order, but also has a short black and white film set in the 1930's of life in Barbados... more
