You now have to pay the hotel $25 access to go down to the beach, even though all beaches in Barbados are public! (unless you’re a hotel resident) that is the only way you can get to it on foot, other way is boat. Expect a frosty reception at the gates. We were let in and where able to wonder... More

From the time you step down on this beach which seems tucked away, you feel as if you enter old Barbados, no large crown, no hustle and bustle, gorgeous clean sand, fresh ocean breeze, clear water great you. Leave your stress behind and let the beach take you away to total relaxation and peace, your only disappoint may be that... More

The beach provided a couple of hours great fun messing about in the big waves. The beach is split in two informally - comfortable and clean for The Crane Resort whilst the other half is less clean and full of beached seaweed which attracts a lot of flies. Still worth a trip though. More

Wasn't crowded, sand is soft and pink colour, there were waves, just big enough for body-surfing. More

We had 3 hours to kill between flights and didn't want airport food so we headed to The Crane for lunch. It's about a 15-20 min cab ride. The food was great - and they make a killer rum punch. The views overlooking the Atlantic and the beach is awesome. Can't think of a better way to spend time between... More

What a sight, whether you are staying at Crane or visiting the beach for the day. You will be amazed at your surroundings. The climb along the side of the giant rock that Crane is perched upon, offers a unique photo opportunity. The Beach itself is captivating as well is the Crane property which is like none other you will... More

Its all about the waves. If you don't like BIG waves then don't go. If you don't like any sort of waves and or wind also don't go! If you need assiaatnce walking, forget it as you access the beach over what can only be described as a dangerous rock causeway whe small kids needed helping and Daddy needed to... More

Gorgeous - got the Sam Lord bus from Hastings - so bargain trip. Didn't access it through the Crane - did it via the general way in. Well worth it - and just went up the stairs and also had a look around the hotel and had a coffee. Very picturesque - and if you walk to the other side... More

You have to see this beach to truly appreciate it. the water can be a little rough but the setting is spectacular. Stroll the white sand and let the sun revive you. More
