Had a Stag day at the golf course and had a great time out there. With the Barbados VIP Card it gets cheaper with 2-for-1 fees for visitors from the UK. We hired clubs and trolley and paid about £80 for a round. The course was poor. Reasonable greens but there was nothing else to rave about. There was no scenery, fairways were average, bunkers just seemed like bits of dirt rather than nice pristine sand traps. Municipal standard at best. This golf course is a diamond in the rough. Barbados Golf Club was closed in 1975 and just re-opened a couple of years ago after local businessmen pumped millions of dollars into a very well done renovation.
