Small cozy restaurant. Only grilled food, only meat. I had the chicken that was really dry with some brown sauce. We wrote our names on walls, just as everyone else. I visited this joint twice in mid December 2006. The mojitos are the best in Cuba, the bartenders were friendly...I even took a few pictures with them. The place is loud, over priced, but you can't go to Havana without visiting La B del M. more

There was great music the night I visited the BdM, but the beers were 3 times the prices of most other places, and the service very surly. Probably just as well to stand outside and listen to the band, who are located right next to the pavement anyway, and get a drink somewhere else. more

La B del M is world famous and so it does draw the tourists. But it is still fantastic. I've been twice and have always had good service. La B del M is the "temple of the mojito" -- and they are good. Hated to leave Havana. more

We visited here on 16th June just passed and had 4 mojitos ( cuban cocktails ) - they cost us $16 !!!! Yes the surroundings were lovely and 2 people played some music for a while but if you are planning on seeing this pub, don't stay for a drink ! more
