The name gives you the wrong impression that you're going to visit something magnificent. Well, it's not like that at all! It's more of a coffee shop where you can eat snacks, drink a hot/ cold chocolate and try some of their chocolates. They're quite expensive, like everything else in Cuba and the chocolates are nothing out of the ordinary,... More

It is simply a cafe that serves very few items. The hot chocolate is really not good. I love chocolate, but I was very disapointed. The only good thing is that the cup of hot chocolate is VERY cheap (<1$). More

We went here 3 times during our week long stay in Havana. The different chocolate drinks and large variety of freshly made chocolates were delicious! More

I went to the Museo Del Chocolate about a year ago, Not so sure why they call it a Museo, It is definitely more like a Cafe, The chocolate is made fresh here and is quite good. I had a cold chocolate milk which was actually quite good. Only thing I did not like about the place was the lineup... More

Went there for a chocolate drink. They did not have anything off the menu, just the one traditional chocolate drink. The waiters are disorganised and prefer to chat amongst themselves rather than serve. We waited for quite some time for a table as it was busy, we were queuing, but the queue was actually being supervised by the tourists, not... More

Lovely chocolate cafe rather than a museum on renovated and beautiful Mercaderes. Not only for chocoholics. Aztec chocolate for only .55 CUC can convert everyone with its nutmeg and black pepper. Worth visiting in the morning as fantastic a/c attracts tourists enormously (big ques spotted on several occasions). More

I am afraid that you will find a large degree of grumpiness here and the chocolate is not that exciting. As commented by others it is not a museum but a failrly ordinary cafe serving chocolate. More

More a café than a museum, although they do have a few chocolate related items in glass cabinets! There is a counter where you can buy individual chocolates of different shapes and flavours, although the chocolate is not actually that nice. Worth a try though as everyone’s tastes are different. I had a hot chocolate in the café and it... More

The smell of chocolate as you pass this store is wonderful! We stopped in and bought some of the most amazing chocolates I have ever tasted. We didn't stop for a chocolate milk on the first day that we stopped here and then kicked ourselves later for not having done since each time we went afterwards there was a line... More

If you cant resist chocolate of any type, this is your place! Although you will need to wait on the queue for around 101-15 minutes because the cafe is always full, it's worth it. The cold chocolate is not really my best but others seem to like it. BUT the hot chocolate and all the bombons are.... oh my god!... More
