The main thing I would say is that unless you are into really expensive cigars do not buy them at Partagas as you can get the same genuine cigars cheaper elsewhere including at the airport including Partagas, Cohiba, Romeo and Julieta and Guatanemera. It was one of the greatest things i did in Havana. The tour is 45 min and it costs 10 CUC. The factory it is behind Capitolio so it is very easy to find it. more

The tour around the working cigar factory is a must! If you only have a short amount of time in Havana this is a much better place to spend an hour than either of the two 'Hemmingway bars'! You are not allowed cameras on the tour, but can leave them with a cloakroom attendent while your go around the factory.... more
