We visited the beach at the weekend and found it buzzing as it was family orientated at that time of day.

Wonderful beach- pristine powder white sand, that spectacular Carribbean coloured waters and reefs- lots of wildlife shoals of fish, gangs of pelicans swooping down and bobbing up and down in the sea- fantastic. No beach hawkers- wow what a wonderful change is that- peaceful, tranquil lovely and lots still left wild despite tourists. Recommendable always.

On a par with Mexico, easily one of the worlds best beaches. Crystal clear waters, lovely white sand. Great for swimming, especially if you are not a confident swimmer as the water is generally very calm and shallow for quite a way in. The stretch of the beach outside Sandals was quiet and wonderful to relax. Enjoyed swimming in sea where the water was warm and shallow. Also enjoyed long walks on the beach and then delicious drinks in the beach bar.

The beach at Varadero is a pleasure at any time of the day - but especially early morning and at sunset. We enjoyed the 'local' beach - toward Calle 50 - and were lucky enough to be staying across the street at a center called Ceserse (Centro Servicios Sociales y Educativos).

Clear blue waters, amazing beaches! The beach is very long so you can take long walks. The water is very shallow off the shore so you can walk out into the ocean for quite a ways. Most resorts have kayaks, paddle boats, boats or snorkel gear you can use that is included in your stay.

The most beautiful beach I have ever seen. Gorgeous white sand - no debris on the beach. Very well maintained.

Clean beach, clear sea, no rubbish, plenty of sunbeds. Not overcrowded, everyone chilled out. Well worth a visit.

I loved relaxing with my drink, reading, and collecting rocks and shells. It was an absolute fantastic time.
