Once a beautiful place, now surrounded by construction and somewhat neglected. Beach and water both needed cleaning - there was even some broken glass at wading depth. Convenient location & most amenities available, but a fee beach should be spotless. More

Mambo beach is part of a section of Seaquarium, it’s basically the dumping ground for all the tourist visiting the island or staying at one of the larger resorts. It’s a mix bag of people, and that range is from the family of 6, screaming babies and bickering parents, to loud drunk college frat boy’s and girl’s and everything in-between.... More

This is where to go if you want to people watch. Not private or anything but was fun for a day. Would be great if you had kids or on a rough day though since there is a breakwater. More

This beach is booming with music, teeming with people, and perfect if you want to see and be seen. We were kicked off areas of unshaded sand twice by hotel staffs (no clear posting on which areas are public and which are paid - even though you pay to access the beach from the get-go) we finally paid $5 each... This is a great beach. It cost $3.00 to get in and $3.00 for the beach chair, we spent the day there with 4 adults 3 teenagers and a 9 year old and everyone had a great time. The beach bar & grill and the souvenier shop were very reasonably priced. We bought the kids a couple rafts for the... More

Mambo beach is a man-made beach, a few hundred yards wide by maybe 100 yards out. It would appear they simply took bulldozers and scooped out a beach and now its a tourist destination. I was even told that the trees were planted there artificially. It is picturesque, but the water is murky, the beach is crowded, and in comparison... More

This beach is straight out of a postcard. There is a beautiful white sand beach with coconut trees everywhere. The swimming area is closed in by jetties, so the water stays fairly calm. Be such to take snorkeling gear as beautiful tropical fish area plentiful by the jetties. I snorkeled down the coast for about a mile with a friend-... More
