Small beach, beautiful water and view of cliff, quiet, great snorkeling. There is a dive shop across the road if you want to complete diving certification class or dive. The beach had a lot of debri after the weekend, but on trash day all the debri was removed. You have to pay to rent chairs, but bring a towel to... More

Wonderful little beach with fantastic snorkeling near shore and all around the bay. Very calm water. The Bahia Apartments provides beach chaises (7,50 nafl/chair includes a free fruit juice at their snack bar above the beach). We visited on a weekday, and there were just a few folks around, including locals, tourists, and a little traffic from local fishermen, who... More

We came to this place from the Lodge Kurá Hulanda & Beach Club where we were staying, because locals told us about swimming with turtles. Well, one must be way too lucky to see turtles because no one might predict when fishers come back with fish to clean (that is what attracts turtles). However, we were not disappointed: a very... The pictures I'd seen of this beach prior to going to Curacao sold me on visiting Playa Lagun. I was underwhelmed to say the least. The beach is tiny and had a lot of debris on it (coral, trash, dead fish, etc.) It's pretty for a few pictures with the cliffs and rock formations, but we didn't stay long. It... More

Easy to find, just make sure you check it out on google earth and google maps and you'll have no problems. When we arrived, there was a group of school kids taking swimming lessons there. Apparently, the shower (turn on/off tap inside the locked building), change room and toilets are only for the schoolkids to use, as they have the... More

This is a snorkel paradise. The only thing keeping the beach from being rated excellent is the quality of the bottom for walking/swimming. The sand on the beach is a bit rocky. While the water is very tranquil, if I went in it to swim, I would wear swimming shoes as rocks and coral abound right after entering. Also I... More

We visited Lagun on a weekend in December. The beach is tiny and the cove lies between two tall cliffs. This does result in quite a dramatic appearance, but we found the beach to be too small to accomodate the people who were there. There are two large shaded areas with cement bases that take up a large part of... More

This small beach in the village of Lagun is probably the best kept secret of the island, and we must try to keep it that way. In the weekends visited by the locals, during the week by the people in the resorts around it. (Deck) chairs can be rented. The setting is beautifull, with cliffs protecting the beach, making it... We saw some pretty fish not far from the shore. It is a nice little relaxing spot. We rented lounge chairs for $5 and regular chairs for $2. We had lunch at the little dive shop across the street and it was better than we expected. More
