Punda is the heart of Willemstad. Ancient buildings, lots of restaurants and shops, floating market, seaquarium. From Punda you can easily go on foot to Otrobanda crossing the boatbridge and by car you can reach every corner of the island through the spectacular bridge crossing Willemstad harbour or taking the Ring. more

The online tourist bureau of Curacao had sent us a nice “Architectural Walking Tour” pamphlet with maps and pictures of the historical buildings of the Punda section of Willemstad.
