Do not miss Titou Gorge! It's well worth swimming in the cold water. More

Our taxi parked very close to Titou Gorge making the hike very easy. The rain forest is quite beautiful as is Titou Gorge. Hiking directly to the waterfall area from the trail necessitates a 60-75 foot walk over very slippery and sharp, pointed rocks. I was physically unable to traverse the path and passed on the swim due to the... More

It's a very cool beautiful place that would've been awesome if it could explored by yourself at your own pace. The crowds created by the cruise ship groups (we were part of one) and necessary "mass production" machinery of the guides who are trying to get you in an out as quickly as possible takes away from the experience. Nevertheless,... More

Titou Gorge is a must see attraction for adventurous visitors to Dominica. It is a narrow box canyon containing a river that drains from the Freshwater Lake higher up on the volcano. When one steps into the shallow pool outside the gorge, the cold water is a bit of a shock. But, with the entrance of the gorge beckoning just... More

My wife and I , both seniors had no touble doing a tour of this gorge. It consists of swimming up a narrow gorge, open to the sky, for about300 feet to a waterfall and then floating out. This trip was taken as an excursion by a cruise ship and is suitable for all ages. It is one of those... More

This was part of a tour with Wacky Rollers Tours. The small hike to the entrance was easy, however, once in the very cold water at the entrance you must force yourself to go in further to see the waterfalls. This was a filming spot for a scene in Pirates of the Carribean and well worth seeing. We tried to... More

Not as big as what we expected but a neat, interesting gorge with beautiful water and a neat swim upstream against the waterfall current. More

We visited Titou Gorge after our hike to Boiling Lake and were pleasantly surprised. This is a beautiful, narrow ravine carved into the jungle by a stream. You can also swim up the gorge to a small waterfall. More

Extremely challenging.... Have your ever heard someone say "I walked up hill both ways"? That's Boiling Lake. Very little flat ground. More
